UPDATE: Yet again Genesis is admitting to losses on FTX, this time for hundreds of millions. Despite initially falsely denying exposure with fancy technical lawyer speak. Withdraw your loans to them, we dont know how deep this really goes or if they are solvent anymore.

FTX claimed that “FTX is fine. Assets are fine.” and “FTX has enough to cover all client holdings.”. They were lying and the exchange actually went bankrupt and froze all withdrawals. Now they are selling off FTX to binance to cover their liabilities to customers.

If FTX is insolvent they will short BTC & BCH, to sell tokens they dont own for cash that they need desperately since FTT is collateral for loans, worst case they freeze withdrawals. Best case, people that buy the BTC & BCH never request to withdraw.

Many took out loans and mortgages to buy Bitcoin, and those loans need to be repaid. So the Bitcoin price cannot rise unless fresh capital comes to buy off everyone’s debts. BCH is so cheap it doesnt need much capital at all to recover, so it carries less bad financial baggage/debt.
