Oasis’ founder, Dawn Song, was mentioned in GPT-4’s technical paper 3 times!

Oasis Network, a renowned L1 blockchain focusing on privacy preserving solutions for Web3 is increasingly getting attention for it's links to machine learning and building responsible AI. A few weeks ago it was tagged on Coinmarketcap as 'AI & Big Data', but wait, there's more…

What caught my attention today is that the biggest consumer application for AI, Open AI has referenced Oasis' founder Dawn Song in their most recenttechnical report for GPT-4 😎

Open AI was recently banned in Italy and other countries will probably follow suit because of how the model has scraped data off the Internet without people's consent. Oasis could play a key role in allowing the development of powerful AI models that are compliant with regulations and more effective as they can leverage private sensitive data. This can help avoid the biases AI models tend to develop.

  1. Btw, biases in AI are a big deal. Big Tech companies like Meta realize this to be a problem and have partnered with privacy pioneers like Oasis to help measure it for their Instagram users.
