Is liquidity pools going to die?

Hi, crypto noob here! I recently saw that ETH is going to make transaction fees lower with their new update and I was wondering what impact on liquidity pool this is going to have. If providing liquidity doesn't make money anymore people remove it from the pool ?

  2. Liquidity pools earn on swapping fees not transaction fees.

Transaction fees go to the stakers.

  3. No cos LPs actually gain fee from swapping fees and for some other protocols they also have farming rewards
