I haven’t logged on Ledger in a while. These are scams right? Been staking my ETH for about 2 years but I’ve never seen this before. I’ve owned this ledger for almost 8 years.

  1. The Ledger subreddit is continuously targeted by scammers. Ledger Support will never send you private messages. Never share your 24-word recovery phrase with anyone, never enter it on any
website or software, even if it looks like it’s from Ledger. Only keep the recovery phrase as a physical paper or metal backup, never create a digital copy in text or photo form. Learn more at

  2. >I’ve owned this ledger for almost 8 years.

does not matter. the cryptos and NFS are on the blockchains, not in your ledger. you know that, right?

yes, they are scam. do not interact with them! just ignore or hide them.

  3. Don’t forget staking is a taxable event so keep track of every date and transaction unfortunately it’s the law. Also that’s a scam.

    IRS:

“Yes, taxes apply to crypto staking. In 2023, the IRS clarified that staking rewards are considered income upon receipt, which subjects US taxpayers to income tax on crypto received from staking. Additionally, when you sell or dispose of staking rewards, capital gains taxes typically come into play.”

  4. Good on you for asking but honestly can’t believe people actually have to. Ofc they’re scams lol
