Crypto (CRO) Change to Stacking & Locking Period for Visa Card: What is the efficient way?

I received e-mail today from CRO informing me about the changes they are making and I am not sure what is the correct way to approach this.

Currently we can apply for Ruby Steel Card with or without CRO Lockup for period of 180 days.

Do I understand correctly that if I lockup my CRO, I will not receive any staking bonuses currently?

Therefore, is it better to wait till the 4th of December for someone wo was thinking of ordering their Ruby Steel Card?
