  1. Honestly I had to look up on the map to find out where Suriname is… but that’s also the case for me a few years ago with El Salvador.

  2. She is really really unlikely to win and Surinamese elections aren’t scheduled until 2025.

  3. Bitcoin is a no brainer for Suriname.

    Suriname has a massive hydro plant which was purpose built for alcoa.

    Alcoa is gone but that plant is still there producing mainly run off electricity.

    Bitcoin mining is pretty much the only viable purpose for that energy.

  4. Suriname has close ties to the Netherlands, so hopefully, the EU will take it in a positive way.

  5. Bitcoin is legal tender in El Salvador, but why is their shivo app and their atms not running 100% over lightning?
