Anyone explain this bs?

I created a crypto token and trying to add liquidity on pancake swap, I enter the liquidity section and add the values that should be correct, not sure though if someone has a good idea and can walk me through it. I click add and proceed, it shows me that I have to pay over $1000 in gas fees! Is etherium overpriced or is it something to do with my pancakeswap settings

  1. Please note that PancakeSwap (or any wallet service) DOES NOT provide support through direct messages.

There are multiple scams targeting crypto users and you should NEVER, under any circumstances, share your wallet seed
phrase or any personal information with anyone online!

    Keep yourself safe:

    1. Never click on any unverified links.
    2. Never share your private keys or seed phrases.
    3. Reporting all suspicious users.
    4. Be suspicious of everything – do your own research!

  2. Adding to this I can change the gas fees, but will this work or steal my eth, have had it happen where sometimes my eth gets stolen from adding lower gas limits, what’s recommended
