After being unable to upgrade BTC in 2013, Ethereum was created. Butterin called BCH a Fail. BCH is now upgrading the BCH network to enable smart contracts and similar tokens to ERC20 on a more effective and scalable blockchain. Ethereum may be deprecated?

Meanwhile due to its complexity and technical debt, Ethereum is encountering bugs that are randomly taking out the network, and the causes are still unknown, similar to other networks that go offline randomly, the market doesnt care because the speculators are not actually using it: https://cryptoslate.com/ethereum-failed-to-finalize-transactions-for-25-minutes-but-avoided-full-outage/

BCH is hard to kill and is striking back, endeavoring to take use cases and market share from expensive and buggy Ethereum. Hows that from a blockchain that is “Mostly a failure” ?

  1. proposing bch is going to surpass 10 years of ethereum’s research, advancements, and culture with one update is foolish.

can they not coexist? both can be great for different reasons. were all working towards the same goal.

  2. Making enemies when not necessary is a great way to shoot yourself in the foot.

Vitalik has had various opinions on BCH, including congratulating it when BCH marketcap briefly overtook ETHs. Chill.
