  1. What a dumb ass, 1y before the halving ๐Ÿคฃ he couldn’t have waited one more year. At least he might just invests those 279BTC in some alts.

  2. Noob time, what do we mean by move and why would a person move it from location to another?

  3. How I wish to wake up one day and remember the wallets I mined BTC with in the early days.

  4. Jesus every hour there is another one of these posts. I have no idea what the point of this is. Like Mr Whale is going to go dump all the coins on the exchanges with no set price and single-handedly crash Bitcoin.

  5. Maybe a cracked wallet? I really doubt someone just held it there without doing a single transaction all this time. Even if that person was in prison.

  6. Sigh…no one knows it’s a dormant “wallet”. We only can see addresses. Maybe this dormant address is part of a wallet that has been very active, and the owner finally decided to move his very old UTXOs from one address to another. Everyone talks about wallets when we truly have no ability to know that.

  7. Honestly.. how is this even news? People store money in their back yard all the time for longer than that.
