As many of you are aware Trezor has decided to integrate the Address Ownership Proof Protocol (AOPP). This integration is a slap in the face to Trezor users who prioritize safety and privacy above all.

A few other wallets, such as BlueWallet, have already decided to remove AOPP. If KYC is their concern, leave that up to exchanges UNTIL governments force them to implement AOPP.

I think the big issue that people have is that Trezor is going out of their way to implement this, nobody is forcing them. At the very minimum, make AOPP an option if users in Switzerland and Singapore need it. The rest of us do not need it or want it.

Edit: I do not 100% understand AOPP, but this article articulates a lot of fear that people, including myself, have with integrating such protocols.
