The Malaysian Ministry of Finance has proposed a legal tender of cryptocurrency

Malaysia's Ministry of Communication has urged he government for crypto currencies like bitcoin to be accepted as legal tender, Zahidi Zainul Abidin, the country's deputy minister, told Parliament on Monday. “We're hoping the government will agree,” Zahidi remarked. “We're trying to figure out how to make this legal so that we can encourage youth to participate in crypto and help them.”

We need more countries adopting crypto currencies as a legal tender, in order for adoption to increase worldwide and have a big positive impact on society. Many third world countries can only receive money as crypto currency, and for many it’s their main source of income due to corrupt banks, highly inflated local currency, and so on. Thanks to the blockchain we have endless possibilites and many projects to invest in, ATOM, SocialGood, LRC, AVAX… Many crypto projects offer features that can help us achieve financial freedom if we invest in trusted projects. I can’t wait to see where is crypto adoption in five to ten years in the future.
