Passphrase

Guys what is the purpose of this feature in the new Trezor Suite update and is it recommedned to choose “passphrase” if you use such a wallets ? Thank you !

  2. If you add a passphrase to your seed words it creates a new wallet. Each different passphrase makes a new wallet.

    Having a passphrase increases the security of your Bitcoin, as now someone who finds your 12 words (or somehow gains access to your hardware device) can’t move your Bitcoin.

    It is NOT like a password though. If you forget your passphrase, there is no way to recover it. Keep it backed up just like your seed words (but separately).

  4. I read the article https://trezor.io/learn/a/standard-passphrase-wallets and try it on “passphrase” option but when i launched Suite I was not asked to enter my passphrase its same as when “standart” opntion is on ? What is wrong ?
