I need to access an old MyEtherWallet. I have the paper with public and private address. Reading the offline instructions from MEW it states
” Step 2. Click on
MyEtherWallet-vX.X.X.X.zip
to download the file when I went to open this on the offline computer it does not open the browser with a visible page. On Github there is a separate file ending MyEtherWallet-v6.6.1-Offline.zip. Is this the one that should now be used ?
MEW's notes did not discuss on Offline version.
Thanks for any help. Ps running latest version of Chrome and set Chrome to open as originally the computer wanted to use Explorer
