Dope Wars is inspired by Drugs Wars, an OG Ti-83 game based on hustling around New York selling drugs, and the biggest and best gangsta game of all time — Grand Theft Auto. Dope Wars NFT’s, $DOPE, contain items from the lore of these inspiration sources. Divine Robes and Divine Swords? Nah G, we rollin’ with AKs, Rolls Royces, Gold Chains, Diamond Rings, Gucci Belts, Black Hoodies, Air Jordan 1s and of course, a fresh boatload of drugs.
Like its predecessor $LOOT, $DOPE is a NFT lego that anyone can come along to, pick up and build upon! Many different apps and games will use the same NFT as their base layer. One NFT = multiple utilities (and not in a lame, stake for yield and join Discord style utility…)!
So you've got some $PAPER and you've got your DOPE NFT. How do I create my custom OG Hustler then, you ask — that's where the Saturday unbundling release comes in. You'll be able to take all the best items from any of your DOPE and equip them to your fully-custom OG hustler. $DOPE NFTs will be able to be 'unbundled' which will create 9 individual NFTs, one for each item on the $DOPE NFT card
Along with the unbundled items, $DOPE NFTs will be able to create a Hustler metaverse character. Hustlers will be able to freely equip items that are unbundled from the $DOPE NFT, meaning you can mix and match items from up to nine different original NFTs to create your ideal Hustler..
Both the unbundled items and the Hustler characters will deploy to the Ethereum scaling solution, Optimism, in order to avoid the exorbitant Eth gas fees. Aside from that, if you're a future $PAPER baron like me, part of the real secret sauce is that unbundling your DOPEs will cost 12.5k $PAPER each. If we're conservative and say that 1000 DOPEs get unbundled, that's 12.5m $PAPER that gets immediately taken off the market and into the DAO hands to be used for in-game purposes. Combine this with the fact that the L2 marketplace that will support trade of these unbundled items will use $PAPER as the base currency. Supply decreases, and utility is created where none existed before (beyond speculation). I think anyone can understand this is a recipe for some serious mooning. Not to mention $PAPER has been consolidating for the last few weeks now and is primed to absolutely explode. NFA
