What’s the difference between owning UNI and stock in a company?

If I own UNI, I can participate in temperature/consensus checks and fish.vote crowd proposals. Stockholders have rights to vote in elections for board directors, shifts in corporate aims etc. Aside from minor differences and the fact that DAOs are highly community-driven, is there a difference between UNI and traditional stock per se? Does it make sense to call UNI owner a shareholder of Uniswap?
