Greeting Pancakeswap community!

Cryptocurrencies have gained the spotlight these days, and the users' adoption rising day by day, comes in there the question of regulations, security, and of course, privacy. Due to the fact that crypto-assets are recorded on ledgers and explorers, one of the concerns is privacy. Public ledgers are used to record transactions. They show the amount involved, the token type, and your address and receiver address. I firmly think that very few people will willingly give their cryptocurrency financials to the entire world if given the option.

For example, traditional investors hesitate to expose how many transactions they made on a trading dapp like UniSwap, PancakeSwap or how often they invest & borrow on a lending dapp like Venus. That’s also true for professional traders who wouldn’t want other people to see their portfolios and expose their trading strategy, people often intend to keep the secret recipe for themselves, so you wouldn’t want other people to jump on BscScan, paste in your wallet address and discover your trade path.

The greater issue will also arise once MetaMask begins gathering user IP addresses (you can check it out here). When a large wallet organization becomes powerful enough to begin imposing its will on current users of one of the largest cryptocurrency wallets, this does not seem to be a positive omen….

What will happen next when MetaMask begin collecting our IP addresses?

What do you guys think about this? Is privacy that something we should concern ourselves about? Or it’s just not that important right now? Thank you for reading this far
