Ledger will NEVER ask for your 24-word recovery phrase and/or to make a transaction to us.

Ok, so I lost all my passwords recently and forgot my ledger passcode. 2 incorrect attempts. Don’t have the recovery phrase. Have it connected to 2 wallets, and have those recovery phrases. If I wipe it can I recover what’s on it from the wallets or do I need the ledger recovery phrase?
Question about the ledger:
If someone finds my seedphrase , and generates a new wallet on let’s say Exodus with my seed phrase, does the ledger protect against this somehow or not? (I’m assuming no but I figured I’d ask, it’s been a minute)

I had wanted to transfer my WLUNA tokens onto my Ledger for safekeeping until this gets sorted at its source contract… UNTIL I saw something you posted here:
https://support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/5446498963869-Wrapped-Luna-WLUNA-WLUNC-display-bug?docs=true
This states that you plan on CHANGING the WLUNA token to become and follow the newly issued token named WLUNC as a “bug fix”.
WLUNA was a totally separate token on a totally separate blockchain. WLUNA holders were not a part of the post crash changes that were made to the TERRA token names. We are holding WLUNA… not LUNC or WLUNC or anything from the TERRA blockchain.
I don’t believe you can just change a token’s name without changing it’s contract? The WLUNA contract states:
1 WLUNA = 1 LUNA
Hi, I got register for the ledger affiliate and there’s buyer making the purchase using my link. trying to transfer my atom from binance to my ledger. The Atom network isn’t available, can I use BSC?

Hello all, (new member, not able to create a post yet).
I have received my Ledger from the official website and have checked that is is a genuine one.
When I open the ledger live app I can see the coins I hold without needing to input my PIN. Is this correct? I cannot send or receive without connecting the Ledger and using my PIN.
This is different to Trezor, when opening the app, the coins held are not visible until the PIN is entered.
I would like to show more decimal places in my bitcoin balance. Is that possible? I know I can choose to show sats, but I don’t want that. I want to show 8 decimal places.
I’m trying to confirm how the 24-word recovery seed phrase works in its ability to restore private keys for the sake of my own contingency planning. You can correct me along the way. Your help is appreciated.
How I see it: Let’s use an analogy where you have some locks/doors (they are the public keys on a blockchain). You would use a unique key to open each of them (private keys). The wallet would generate a master key that fits all of the doors belonging to a person somehow (24-word recovery). This means the master key would be able to open all those doors regardless of who has the 24 words. And in order for that to be possible, all private keys should have been known in advance because if I decide to add a new lock/door (private key) in the future after the master key is made, then the master key would need to be re-created each time. This is not feasible given the result of being able to recover all future assets at any time (after the initial setup of a wallet). Therefore, this can only mean that the way it works is by pre-generating these private keys before a door even appears in existence. Kind of like saying that a master key generates a gazillion keys before the doors are about to appear from existence and then you make the door/lock fit the key rather that than having the key fit into the door. The wallet just has to ensure one of those private keys are used in any future transactions where a public key is generated. Again, correct me if I’m wrong. I’m over-simplifying it to make sure I’m on the same page.
If my understanding above is correct, then this raises a bunch of questions as a new user, to which I can’t seem to find the answers. You almost need a degree in crypto to answer those questions below. I digress.
I’m a bit frustrated at the lack of answers related to day-to-day scenarios. This mentality is the reason why I’ll never be scammed or lose my funds. My brain finds inconsistent or missing explanations rather than me pretending to know or understand. But it’s not very user-friendly because it’s not written from an application/contingency stand-point.
Thanks in advance for those answers.
Why is it the Tezos amount is not showing in ledger live
