Asked a question about my Ledger a few days ago. Within an hour there were at least 20 people in my dm trying to get my recovery phrase. Be aware of scammers!

Such support… /s
Well at least ledger can have yours without contacting you xD
Noted Ledger Support guru “Material-Winter-5791” isn’t asking for your phrase.. it’s right there in black and white! That’s a name you can trust, for sure. /s
That’s why I turned off DMs in the first place.
“Stability authentification link” ROFL
They never wrote me until now. Maybe depends on the questions you ask?
If you ask noob questions they might write you.
How come I can’t move my ethereum I have nano x I won’t let me transfer or swap an was working fine
Can you give me the first 4 letters of each word of your seed phrase?
Unfortunately there are a large amount of impersonation accounts out there pretending to be Ledger Support, precisely to scam users via social engineering or fake phishing apps (and these scams tend to evolve).
These DM’s show a clear instance of fake support accounts – and so this is an effective learning opportunity on how to identify, ignore, and avoid instances of scamming.
Remember to ignore anyone who may DM you claiming to be from Ledger Support, these are scammers and you’ll want to ignore, block, and report them to us. Ledger Support will never DM users under any circumstances.
If you’re ever in doubt, you can always reach out us at our official support page (here is a link for reference) and we’ll be more than happy to answer any questions, or concerns you may have (thank you again for reporting these accounts as well, we appreciate this).
