Ledger Account Balance Doesn’t Appear In Mycelium

On my Ledger Live, I have 3 accounts, all created there. The seed phrase was generated by the device, and all reception addresses were generated by Ledger Live.

The accounts are:

account X – Native Segwit

Account Y – Native Segwit

Account Z – Segwit

In Ledger Live, I see balances on all 3 accounts.

When I tried importing the seed phrase to Mycelium, I see coins that are attributed to only accounts X and Z, but not bitcoins that belong to account Y.

This is making me nervous, in light of this post I found:

https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/89379/mycelium-not-reading-segwit-bech32-bc1-addresses-from-a-private-key

I need to understand the reasoning for this and my course of action.

Thanks!

  1. The Ledger subreddit is continuously targeted by scammers. Ledger Support will never send you private messages. Never share your 24-word recovery phrase with anyone, never enter it on any
website or software, even if it looks like it’s from Ledger. Only keep the recovery phrase as a physical paper or metal backup, never create a digital copy in text or photo form. Learn more at

  2. I would personally never import my seed into a hot wallet, let alone an android device but everyone has their own risk tolerance.

  3. You typed your seed into mycelium? Omg.

What’s the first thing ledger tells you not to do?

  4. So you compromised your ledger seed. Brilliant.
