Greatest property of BTC

I've been trying to decipher the maxi mentality and, from what I can see, the greatest property of BTC (according to them) is its immutability of the rules: there will never be a hard fork. Chain parameters like 1 MB block size or 10 min average block time were chosen arbitrarily in (or near) the beginning and now they are set in stone. Any “inconvenience” must be overcome by either soft forks or new layers on top, like the Lightning Network.

Do you agree that this is how maxis view BTC and that that's why they discard BCH and essentially all of the other coins?
