Downloaded Exodus Wallet for a desktop. Why two wallets?

So I downloaded the Exodus wallet to see what it is like. I played with the various features. I noticed that when I went to receive. There were two wallets. There is an arrow when I clicked it showed me a different receive address. Why?

  3. Various chains have multiple address formats, most notably Bitcoin and Cardano. Don’t worry about it too much, as both put the coins under the control of your private keys. Certain functions outside of your wallet may ask for one format or another to send to, so it may still be helpful to know which format is which at some point.
