  1. Anyone familiar with impervious.ai and/or Zion? Layer 3 on btc seems really promising and interesting

  2. Celsius isn’t letting people login through website. I couldn’t get in there but could in the app. Trying to get the last little bit I have out

  3. I thought BTC was hedge against inflation? Clearly it’s not based on recent price action.

  4. Every even slightly negative comment, even if 100% factual, is being downvoted in this thread. That’s dangerous for anyone who cares about seeing any issue clearly.

  5. A lot of inflation hedge comments here, smart money buys assets in anticipation of inflation and sells through inflation issues. Whats better is dca’ing nonstop to be involved in an emerging asset class. Take some profits when media and celebrities are shilling projects non stop and buy more when narratives collapse.
Look at the all time chart of bitcoin in linear view and notice the volumes the last couple years. Its massive compared to prior 2021. Means bigger money is here and will continue into the future. Bitcoin’s too good to not draw in more participants. Zoom out

Edit: bitcoin will not be pigeonholed into one type of asset. Its the base layer of the monetary system. Its a technology that will be built up with thousands of companies upon it. How do you value that?

  6. How you like them heavy ass bags now 💩🌽 ?🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  7. I’m not that smart, never finished 8th grade, had to work for my family, but I’m smart enough to buy all the Bitcoin I can get my hands on.( and these prices are awesome !!!)👍👍👍

  8. Why does it take so long to deposit money on to my cashapp wallet from my ledger ? Is there a way to deposit the money faster ? Is this what the lightning network is for ? Which lightning wallet do I get ?

  9. So I started using Strike a month ago and i’m still stuck at the $100 per 2 weeks limit. I’ve emailed support twice and both times got the stock answer of “limits are automatically imposed based on a complex assessment of different qualifications….etc” I’ve submitted all the necessary KYC stuff and have had multiple small deposits settle. Does anyone know when the limits typically get bumped up? I’m dca’ing daily right now and would not like to have to use other exchanges if I don’t have to.

  10. As someone who missed the last bear market because I was swayed by doubt, and then came to severely regret my missed buying opportunity, I am so freaking excited about this I can’t even stand it. I truly worried I wouldn’t get a second chance, I had missed my boat, etc.

NOW IS MY TIME TO SHINE

I just gotta search the couch cushions for some extra coinage …

  11. The economy goes up and down. The price of Bitcoin goes up and down. The value of your stocks and index funds goes up and down.

When these things are up, you hold. When these things are down (and if you’re smart), you hold.

The worst thing you can do during a downturn is to start panicking and second-guessing your investments and making changes. Don’t change anything. Just hold on, and you can thank me later when the waves lead to your investments riding high again.

  12. My current portfolio

BTC, VTI, a fuckton of Wizard of the Coast Pokémon cards, and Gamecube games.

I unironically feel like each is a good hedge on eachother.

  13. First time a sine wave fits better than logarithmic regression. You know what a sine wave do? It goes back to zero.

  14. Has any compared the price of bitcoin to the Russian invasion? Is it possible that a huge Russian dump of bitcoin is what caused the price to drop? Or is this more of an indicator of the economy as a whole’s true value?

  15. My last buy order to hit was at $25,600 on May 12. I set buy orders every $500 down, on the $600 and $100 marks. Next unfilled buy order down is at $25,100. Will be curious to see if we break down that far.

  16. You can tell how much someone has lost by their comment lol. This is a great ride when you don’t buy more than you should, and have money to deploy on big dips.

  17. I sold at 40k and every time since it’s been below 30k I get a notification it’s 5% down I buy back in with 5% of the funds until going all in again at 22k. We’ll see if 16k isn’t a meme

  18. Munger provides good reasons to to buy BTC:

Munger said. “In the first place, it’s stupid because it’s still likely to go to zero. It’s evil because it undermines the Federal Reserve System … and third, it makes us look foolish compared to the Communist leader in China. He was smart enough to ban bitcoin in China.”

Mr. Munger I could give a f#ck what some communist thinks of the US. We are by nature oil and water. Capitalism vs communism. Go join the communist and don’t let the door hit you on the way out.

The Federal Reserve System is an evil creation. It creates boom/bust cycles. It robs people of their livelihoods through debt and inflation. It subverts our capitalist system so that only those closest to the money printer benefit. There isn’t anything good about the Fed or the Chinese Communist Government.

BTC is decentralized sound money and provides people worldwide with control over their own money.

  19. But I thought the drop from 69K to 62K was cheap coins and you had to BTFD right now or you were insane.

  20. Just took the loss and sold my BTC. It’s clear that nobody really knows what will happen, especially with the world economy. I just don’t see high risk assets being bought in a worldwide recession and we get closer every day. Could be wrong, but I’m gonna wait and see
